• Henry Fell, breeder of the Meatlinc sheep in England. Henry first visited Minnesota in December 1988 and his example provided the inspiration for Siremax, and continues to this day. www.meatlinc.co.uk
• Siremax is a subscriber to LAMBPLAN, the Australian processor and evaluator of sheep information. Siremax uses LAMBPLAN because the size of the database inspires confidence, the cost is reasonable, and carcass traits are a major part of their operation.   www.sheepgenetics.org.au/LAMBPLAN
• The National Sheep Improvement Program (NSIP) is the US equivalent of LAMBPLAN. NSIP gathers data from U.S. breeders and submits them to LAMBPLAN for analysis. Breeders should investigate both websites for a complete understanding of the system. www.nsip.org.   www.nsip.org
• Rodney Watt is a top Australian breeder of Polled Dorsets and White Suffolks. An excellent site to see the uses of genetic evaluation and to have the processes and reports explained from the producer's viewpoint. www.felixrams.com
